Coup de food is an offshoot of "L'Épicerie", a store specialized in gourmet foods, located in Saintes, Charente-Maritime in France.

Our online store offers a selection of the products on sale in Saintes. Its catalogue is likely to evolve according to trends and according to your tastes and expectations. We are constantly seeking out products of excellent quality by meeting producers and artisans and visiting trade fairs devoted to food and gastronomy.  We like to get to know our suppliers well and we select them individually.

Although we aim to be a general store, we have developed two specialities: attractive and good products (combining taste and beauty) and "vins de pays charentais", i.e. wines from our region.

When we first tasted these wines, we were really impressed with most of them, or as they say in French we had a "coup de foudre" for them, hence the name of our site, so we decided to market them to share our enthusiasm with you and to help develop their reputation.

In our catalogue, we propose a wide range of each of our supplier's products (i.e. honeys from Matin d'Abeille, jams from the Comptoir des Confitures and fruit nectars from Alain Milliat) so that customers who really appreciate these brands have a wide choice and not simply one or two references.

A suitable means of logistics has been implemented to ensure the mail-order selling of these products.   Their weight and resistance vary so careful individual packaging is required to prevent breakage during shipping. The parcels are prepared with great care.
