Hélianthe Balsan oils are produced in Charente Maritime, the cradle of sunflower production. Its seeds benefit from an exceptionally sunny climate. As they are conserved in well ventilated silos, the seeds require no insecticide treatments. The chemical-free, mechanical pressing produces oil that is naturally high in vitamin E which helps the body fight against oxidation of fatty acids and protects cell membranes.
The fruit of careful, reasonable farming, subject to constant traceability, this virgin sunflower oil is obtained by a first cold pressing then enriched with 0.3% of natural, Italian lemon extract.
It adds a touch of freshness to the flavour of crudités, tabouleh, fish, seafood, carpaccios, etc.
Use: seasoning and cooking.
