"R" de Ruinart

A skilful blend of wines made from the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, "R" de Ruinart is a golden, lively, fruity champagne with the subtle aroma of white fruits which make it an excellent aperitif or the ideal accompaniment for a "champagne only" meal. The full extent of its aromas will be brought out by a subtle, sophisticated dish such as lightly sautéed scallops.

A blend of 40% Chardonnay, 60% Pinot Noir, including 26% reserve wines.


Description

Appearance

Bright and clear, it is yellow with golden highlights. Beautiful brilliance.
A lingering effervescence, a distinct bead and lively fine bubbles.

Nose

Delicate, fresh and fruity nose. Notes of white-fleshed fruit, mainly pear, hints of dried fruit (hazelnuts and almonds). Notes of white flowers - Acacia, Hawthorn, Wild Rose. A beautiful intensity with hints of slightly buttered brioches.

Taste
It strikes the palate with great intensity.
A balanced, rounded, and fleshy wine with aromas of ripe fruit (greengages and white peaches).
A very lingering finale.
