Made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, le Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is smooth and rounded on the palate. A balanced wine with a beautiful luminous pale gold colour, enhanced by the elegance of the clear bottle.

100% Chardonnay grapes from different years
(mainly from the 2000 harvest and about 25% reserve wines from 2 previous years).


Description

Appearance

A beautiful pale gold-yellow colour with slight glints of green. Beautiful brilliance and luminosity.
A lot of mousse with a big lasting bead and persistent release.


Nose

Quite intense on the nose at first. Notes of fresh fruit, especially ripe citrus fruits.
Then comes a very delicate and floral nose with notes of white flowers and white fruits (white peaches).


Taste
Supple, balanced and very rounded on the palate. A moderate vinous character backed up by a simple freshness. Notes of nectarine and mirabelle.
Quite a long finish of average intensity.
